Pamela Addo

Pamela is an Associate Partner at Axum spearheading the firm’s strategic initiatives in West Africa. With a robust background in private sector development, she specializes in catalyzing growth for SMEs, enhancing financial inclusion, optimizing trade and investment opportunities, and fostering youth employment. Prior to joining Axum, Pamela played pivotal roles in leading international organizations. At Dalberg, she steered numerous impactful projects across Africa. She led the execution of the $140 million USAID West Africa Trade and Investment Hub Program across seven countries spanning viable investment pipeline development, SME investment readiness support and investment facilitation. She also worked at the European Union (EU) in Ghana where she managed various projects with the EU – Ghana cooperation portfolio and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris where she worked on private sector development and entrepreneurship. Pamela’s expertise extends to financial advisory services, honed during her tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Ghana. There, she provided invaluable insights and guidance to a spectrum of clientele, ranging from SMEs to large corporations. Pamela holds a master’s degree in International Development from Sciences Po in Paris and a BA Hons in Economics and French from the University of Ghana and a certification in project management. She speaks English and French.
