Michole Nyamunga

Michole Nyamunga is a Senior Consultant in Axum’s Nairobi office (previously Dalberg). She has advised governments, social enterprises, and large foundations and NGOs on setting expansion and growth strategies, operational efficiency, monitoring and evaluation, investment and due diligence and implementation. Michole has a broad range of experience across a variety of practice areas such as climate, agriculture, WASH, financial inclusion, gender, and urban development, across East and Southern Africa.
Previously, Michole worked for Dalberg where she gained extensive experience in the climate and biodiversity sector, both in Kenya and the broader region. In Kenya, she spearheaded initiatives such as developing a white paper outlining strategies for revolutionizing the energy landscape, conducting a market assessment and creating an e-mobility roadmap, and conducting a feasibility study for green hydrogen production. Regionally, Michole conducted feasibility studies for investment facilities and created private sector engagement strategies for biodiversity conservation. She also designed a program for the Mastercard Foundation and Equity Bank Group and developed a strategy for the African Agricultural Technology Foundation. Michole holds a Master of Laws in Commercial Law from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Sheffield.
