Maame Adokoa Quianoo

Maame is a Finance and Operations Manager at Axum Nigeria and is based in Accra. She is an experienced finance and operations professional with over 9 years of experience in providing excellent finance, tax, business and focused solutions that positively impact the bottom line. She has worked across many industries in Ghana, Nigeria and Liberia. At Axum, Maame manages the finance function in Nigeria. She collaborates with the Group COO in ensuring business profitability through effective cost management. She also liaises with tax authorities, auditors, banks, vendors and other external stakeholders of the company. Maame is also a part of the grant management and accounting services team at Axum who support clients with setting up of accounting systems, book-keeping services, grant management and audits. Maame was previously a Senior Office Manager for Dalberg Nigeria where she was responsible for all financial & operational activities for the office. This involved budgeting and planning, audit, treasury management, vendor management etc. She also assisted consultants on projects that involved grant management by managing disbursements, serving as a financial advisor and providing periodic financial reports. She is a Certified Chartered Accountant, ACCA UK, and holds a Bachelor of Finance in Business Administration, Banking and Finance Major from the University of Ghana Legon.
