Julie Mithika

Julie is a seasoned Associate Program Manager and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist with over 10 years of progressive experience in diverse development sectors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a certificate in M&E, equipping her with a strong foundation for strategic program development and impact measurement.
Prior to joining Axum, Julie worked at Dalberg Implement where she delivered impactful training sessions on M&E frameworks and methodologies to various organizations, including KEPSA, the Lego Foundation and Caterpillar Foundation. Her ability to translate complex concepts into practical knowledge empowers stakeholders to effectively measure progress and achieve desired outcomes. Her experience also encompasses conducting evaluations with UNEP and PwC in Zambia and Kenya, capturing project successes and generating valuable learnings. Julie’s professional journey extends beyond technical expertise. She boasts a proven track record of working effectively in multicultural settings across diverse geographical locations, including Kenya, Zambia, DRC, South Africa, and Rwanda.
