Stephanie Mambo
Stephanie is a Senior Manager at Axum. She brings extensive experience in designing and implementing program strategies across the public and private sector. Prior to this, Stephanie worked at Dalberg. Here, she had the opportunity to work on several advisory and implementation projects across a range of sectors such as financial inclusion, education, energy, agriculture, humanitarian assistance, health, organization strengthening, etc. To name a few, she was part of a team leading the development and implementation of a TVET ecosystem program in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a program she found fulfilling, particularly in the opportunity to realize tangible impact. She also developed a five-year corporate and programmatic strategy for a financial institution based in Uganda, undertook a market assessment of intravenous iron, and developed forecasted market size estimates for five countries across Africa and South Asia for a large foundation. She also worked as Chief of Staff of the Dalberg Trust, a role focused on driving strategic initiatives that foster innovation and promote the Dalberg brand.
Stephanie has over five years of experience in the investment banking sector, where she worked at Nomura International plc in London, UK. Here, she held various roles, most notably as an Associate in the Corporate Business Intelligence Team focusing on company-wide business intelligence. Stephanie completed her MBA as a Dean’s Africa Scholar at Said Business School, University of Oxford. She holds an MEng Chemical Engineering degree from Imperial College London and is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA).
